New Song by Country Anthem
This is a song my husband wrote. It was sung by Matt Dame of Nashville, James Mitchell on guitar, Rachel Loy on base, and Jerry Roe on drums. Recorded at Destiny Nashville Studio this week.

Excellent Customer Service by Google Saves Me from a "DOH" Moment

My 6 year old son loves to play Cartoon Wars on my Android. I recently noticed several charges to Google Wallet related to enhancements he purchased for the game. I normally use it to purchase books from Play Books. He is 6 and always asks before he downloads anything, but somehow he ended up purchasing about 300.00 or so worth of game enhancements within a few hours.

I saw the notification emails and desperately tried to figure out how to get a refund. I was fearful that since I had failed to set up a pin to be used prior to purchases, I would  have no recourse.

I contacted support via the following link.

Someone from support called  within seconds. I must note I made this call around 1:30 am in the morning. They were alert, polite and patient. My son has purchased 21 different items within a 2 hour period. He reminded me how to create a pin number so my son will not be able to make purchase without my approval. He refunded all 21 purchases. Within minutes I received email confirmation of the refunds. I was completely surprised at how friendly and efficient the service was. I really expected to be told the charges would stand or at the least I expected a long drawn out effort to get a refund. The fact that the charges were made were a mistake on my part, I should have configured Google Wallet to require a pin number. I would recommend using Google Wallet, I have had a great experience with it.

Offshoring of Manufacturing Less Attractive as Hassles Increase

It seems no one took into account issues with logistics, language and quality. Most of the problems relate to communication issues. It is extremely difficult for people to work remotely when they share the same culture, when adding distance, language differences, time zones, differing holiday schedules the labor must be extremely inexpensive to make up for the costs in time related to dealing with these issues.
